Brain Dead and THEM SKATES are Teaming Up for a Collaborative Capsule
Featuring inline skates and apparel items.

Collaborations have been a major focal point for Brain Dead throughout the Summer season. To follow-up on its mismatching, three-way ASICS GEL-Fratelli project with Kiko Kostadinov, Kyle Ng‘s streetwear label has now turned to Santa Ana-based imprint THEM SKATES to produce a collaborative collection.
There are several apparel items as well as inline skate involved in this joint-venture, the latter of which serve as the headliners. The street-ready roller blades are designed with white and blue tie marbled uppers, and come contrasted with black collars, charcoal gray cages and navy blue lockdown straps. The wheel cage also drenched with a dark navy tone, and houses white wheels that are branded with Brain Dead‘s namesake. The campaign up above also shows black and blue/white colorways, but it’s not confirmed if these are also included in this assemblage. It’s important to note here that Ng hasn’t been afraid to dip his toes into various corners of the footwear industry. In 2021 alone, he’s collaborated on rock climbing kicks with Evolv, outdoor shoes with ROA and wildly-styled Zig Kinetica IIs with Reebok.
Each of the apparel items are decorated with co-branded hits. handful of striking outerwear products will be launched including a bold green jacket, a brown crewneck sweater with a Brain Dead-branded stripe across the chest, a soft pink crewneck sweatshirt and a purple pullover hoodie.
You can expect the full collection to release on August 31 for the Brain Dead website.
