James Blake Announces New Album and US Fall Tour

James Blake is back with a new album titled Friends That Break Your Heart. The announcement was accompanied by a music video for the album’s first single “Say That You Will,” which stars musician and Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas. Additionally, a U.S. fall tour accompanying the forthcoming album has been revealed.

The album, which features SZA, JID, SwaVay and Monica Martin, is slated for release on September 10 and is currently available for preorder. This makes Blake’s first album since his successful Assume Form album, which was released back in 2018. The tour will kick off shortly after with the first show on September 16 in San Diego, California.

Ticket presales for the tour begin July 26 with the public sale beginning July 30. Check out Blake’s website for more details.
