A new trailer for Blackpink the Movie released on Wednesday, promising fans an inside look into “how it all started.” The new film follows Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa as they reflect back on their five-year career as members of the all-star K-pop girl group Blackpink.

Clips from the upcoming documentary show exclusive conversations with band members, backstage footage and snippets from live performances, including 2018’s In Your Area and this year’s The Show.

The film will arrive in theaters for a North American release on August 4 and a worldwide release on August 8, just in time for the five-year anniversary of the group’s formation. Tickets for screenings at participating theaters are on sale now on the film’s website.

Last month, Blackpink teased their [4+1 Project] in celebration of the anniversary, which so far has incorporated the documentary, a limited-edition album photobook and the group’s announcement that they are joining the online fan community platform Weverse.

On July 13, Blackpink’s agency YG Entertainment also confirmed that member Lisa will be making her solo debut later this summer.

In other entertainment news, Netflix shared the trailer for horror trilogy film Fear Street Part Three: 1666.
