adidas Gears Up for the Tokyo Olympics With a New Footwear Collection
Featuring the 4DFWD, Adizero Prime Sprint, Adizero Ubersonic 4, Harden Vol. 5 Futurenatural and more.

Now that the Tokyo Olympics have been confirmed to go down this Summer, sportswear brands are making it a point to showcase some of its best products on the global stage. One of those imprints is adidas who has just unveiled its newest “Tokyo” collection that features a variety of footwear models for the track, hardwood and the tennis court.
In the running department, the Three Stripes family has prepared a fresh new “Cloud White” adidas 4DFWD along with an Adizero Prime Sprint iteration. The former is arguably the headliner of the entire pack and done up with white knitted uppers, black stripes a latticed 4D cushioning unit that is drenched in a coral orange hue. The Adizero Prime Sprint is fashioned wit similar angelic uppers and accents, but is supported with track spikes down below that are covered in metallic gold.
For all the hoops lovers out there, adidas has readied Tokyo-inspired colorways of the Harden Vol. 5 and the N3XT L3V3L FUTURENATURAL. The Brooklyn Nets guard’s offering hones in on brighter neutrals of white and off-white to makeup its upper, and allows orange accents to fall onto the tongues and mid-foot. The adidas N3XT L3V3L FUTURENATURAL makes use of the “Cloud White” pigment to forge its sock-like upper while black stripes adorn the tongues and orange X patterns dress up the toe box. The last piece in the collection is the Ubersonic 4. Its uppers are engineered with Primegreen — a collection of recycled materials — and is complemented with stark black stripes and an orange mold that sits at the rear.
All of these styles are slated to release via adidas come July 3 via adidas, and prices will range from $130-200 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear news, early images of the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Beluga Reflective” have emerged.
