RIMOWA Wants to Improve Your Passport Photos
With a new in-store photography service.
With global travel slowly showing signs of returning to normal in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the luggage brand RIMOWA has launched a new way to take your passport photos at their flagship store in Soho, New York.
The RIMOWA Passport Studio aims to offer a customer experience that’s elevated beyond the typical drug-store photo booth, and will feature flattering lighting, and more comfortable seating. The service — which is free to use — is available to anyone visiting the store, with no appointment needed.
Emelie De Vitis, CMO of RIMOWA said, “We’re honored to open The RIMOWA Passport Studio. For us, this new location is an exciting opportunity to continue growing the U.S. market and explore innovative ways to connect with our audience on different aspects and touchpoints of modern travel.”
For U.S. citizens, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends international travel for fully vaccinated individuals only. Additionally, they require all travelers entering the United States (including U.S. citizens and permanent residents) to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken within three days of departure.
