John Mayer Returns With "Last Train Home" Video
The first single taken from ‘Sob Rock.’
After news arrived earlier this year that John Mayer had completed his follow up to The Search for Everything, the musician has now revealed his next single, as well as details about the upcoming album. Titled “Last Train Home,” the track comes accompanied by an ’80s-inspired video that references the song and album’s nostalgic feel.
“Last Train Home” also features an appearance from Maren Morris, with Mayer recently declaring on Instagram that he considered Morris to be “one of the best musicians and communicators around, and to have her voice on the song is a real honor.”
The song is the first single taken from Sob Rock — Mayer’s eighth studio album — which is due to be released on July 16. You can watch the video, complete with its heavy ’80s influence, in the gallery above.
