Koei Tecmo has just announced at E3 that it is porting Wii U’s Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5/4, Xbox, and PC.

For those unfamiliar, the game is like a combination of Pokémon Snap, Resident Evil and House of the Dead all rolled into one. The terrifying game redefined the horror game genre as it incorporated elements of Japanese film along with the inventive use of the Camera Obscura as the weapon — a refreshing change from the customary firearm.

Our hero returns to the creepy Mt. Hikami to uncover the mysteries of the tragic deaths, restless spirits, and the curse of the main shrine maiden, Ose Kurosawa. The ported version will feature improved graphics, new costumes, and photo mode features. Look for this game to release later this year.

In other gaming news, Nintendo is finally bringing Advance Wars to the Switch.
