Larry June had quite the impressive run in 2020 as he managed to drop off a whopping six musical projects over the course of 2020 — all the while pushing a healthy lifestyle of morning jogs, meditations and juice cleanses. And just in time for Summer, the San Francisco-based emcee is delivering new material to the world in the form of a new album and he’s just released the first single “Wait On Me” alongside its accompanying music video.

Directed by THEDAILYGEMS, the new visual clocks in at just over three minutes and fully encapsulates June’s laid back attitude and desires to cherish the finer things in life. Throughout the clip, June and his crew are shown having quite the relaxing trip in Miami as they are posted up with women and alcohol on a yacht in the middle of teal ocean. “Would you wait on me, or would you walk away, walk away? You so beautiful to me, you make me wanna stay, wanna stay, If you gon’ love me, love everything I come with. I did some shit in my past that I’m stuck with”, June croons on the new tune, essentially expressing his feelings for a love interest.

To coincide with this drop, Larry June also announced that his newest album is set to release on June 11.
