The 2021 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' TCG World Championship Has Been Canceled
For the second year in a row.

Konami has just announced that this year’s Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship has been canceled for the second year in a row.
As the official announcement states:
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we will be canceling “Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2021” to ensure the health and safety of all parties involved.
We apologize to everyone that was looking forward to the event and appreciate your understanding.
Link many international TCG games, organizers are forced to postpone their annual tournaments due to travel restrictions and to prevent the further spread of the ongoing COVID-19 virus. While the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Tournament may be canceled, Konami has already revealed its plans to make up for the yearly event with country/region large-scale online PvP events lasting from May to August.
Further info regarding this Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links KaibaCorp GT 2021 Grand Tournament will be revealed on social media and in-game.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links will hold the KC Grand Tournament (KCGT) from May – August 2021, to take the place of the 2021 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship.
