A Japanese brand known for its handmade items and low production runs, The World Is Yours first garnered acclaim for its paisley bags. Now, TWIY is bringing those same prints to a new sneaker silhouette: the Dac Japonica. With a luxurious construction and a familiar shape, the Dac Japonica is a dual-pronged nod to artisanal craftsmanship and classic sport silhouettes.
Two colorways have been produced: black and gray. Both feature an upper covered in silken bandanna print and a shape reminiscent of adidas‘ Stan Smith — save for the heel, which boasts ridged metallic leather in either silver (the black pair) or navy blue (the gray pair). Both pairs also feature a premium peanut butter brown collar and sockliner plus contrasting laces. Down below, bright green midsoles with a shape somewhat reminiscent of the adidas Superstar round off each look. For a final treat, both come packaged with a special tote bag.
Both colorways of The World Is Yours’ Dac Japonica sneaker are available now via stockists like HBX. The MSRP for each is set at $493 USD.
