Kid Cudi Honors Kurt Cobain by Rocking a Floral Dress for Recent 'SNL' Performance
Mr. Rager performed “Sad People” and “Tequila Shots” off of his latest record ‘Man On The Moon III: The Chosen’.
Kid Cudi was the latest guest artist on Saturday Night Live which was hosted by actress Carey Mulligan, and aside from him performing two tracks off of his latest album Man on the Moon III: The Chosen, it was his wardrobe choices that certainly stole the show.
For his performance of “Sad People”, Cudi paid his respects to the late Kurt Cobain by sporting a floral dress that is nearly identical in color and pattern to a one that the former Nirvana lead guitarist and vocalist used to wear. The spaghetti strap garment was crafted by Off-White™ and was exclusively reserved for Mr. Rager and Mr. Rager only as confirmed by Virgil Abloh on IG.
In addition to this performance, the Cleveland-born artist also took the stage earlier in the evening to play his popular tune “Tequila Shots”. For this set, he threw on the crystallized Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike SB Dunk Lows, a Kermit green cardigan and a t-shirt that had Chris Farley — the late SNL comedian — embellished across the front.
