A perk of being a member of the Jordan Brand family — especially if you are on its basketball roster — is that you tend to receive some special player exclusives throughout the season. That’s certainly the case for NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum as he’s already been gifted colorways inspired by his love for pizza, tattoos and video games, and now he’s added one more to his rotation: the Air Jordan 35 “Jet Ski”.
If its namesake is any indication, this newest piece carries heavy Summer vibes and is graced with vibrant accents often shown on the high-speed water crafts. Leather overlays that run across the side panels are executed in white and come neighbored by striking pink and green accents — the former of which pops out through the mid-foot cables, lace loops, heel tabs and toe box netting, while the latter is paints the throat and tongue tabs. Synthetic collars are stained with a mauve-y surface, while more purple hits poke out towards the lower throat. More playful energy continues towards the kicks’ lower pieces as the Eclipse plate features a burst of blue paint with black speckles while the treading goes for the pretty in pink aesthetic.
Additionally, Tatum‘s son’s name Deuce is planted on the interior side of the tongue tabs and the insoles are decorated with wavy retro patterns.
