Burberry's New Slides Are a Nod to the Brand's Vintage Checks
A minimal take on the iconic pattern.
Burberry‘s has unveiled a brand new pair of slides from its Spring/Summer 2021 lineup. The sandals display the luxury house’s time-honored plaid pattern all along the uppers.
Burberry has kept the designs simple for these pairs. The uppers sport the iconic pattern, while the rest of the slides have been kept black to bring most of the attention to the uppers. Its beige palette is accentuated by a matte sheen, complemented by the sandals’ textured rubber footbed. “BURBERRY” branding is stamped along the side of the sole as a finishing touch to the slides’ minimal design.
