'Attack on Titan' Manga Finale Complete, Kodansha Takes Legal Action Against Illegal Uploads
Preventing leaks.
Following Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama‘s submission of the draft for the final manga chapter, publisher Kodansha took legal action to prevent leaks. Reported by Isayama’s editor, the preemptive move is to actively stop “several accounts and individuals” from illegally uploading any content pertaining to the manga’s final chapter. Kodansha will apparently pursue illegal uploaders “regardless of country” for both images or text.
The Attack on Titan manga is now set to end with the May issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine releasing April 9 with the 34th and final volume shipping June 9. Kodansha has also launched a 10-day countdown campaign with digital wallpapers, interviews, and Q&As with Isayama released every day.
