ASICS Serves Up This Creamy Tarther Blast Colorway For Earth Day

Earth Day — the annual holiday dedicated to showing support for protecting our planet — will be held on April 22, 2021. Sportswear brands like ASICS are choosing to get into the day’s spirit by releasing celebratory footwear items ahead of the festivities, one of which is this creamy Tarther Blast “Earth Day” makeup.
The silhouette whose design was guided by Kiko Kostadinov‘s studio has been modified with sustainable materials to align with the global event’s ethos. Recycled materials are utilized to construct the upper, most of which is dialed to a “Cream” hue that wraps its breathable mesh. Further textures to note include the leather tiger stripes and the shaggy suede overlays that hug the throat and lower heel. Extra “Cream” hues are applied to the leather forefoot and heel overlays, the latter of which hosts tonal ASICS branding. Rustic brown laces also provide an extra dose of contrasting. Save for the white “FF Blast” spell out that its planted on the forefoot, the midsoles continue the earthy theme as they are swathed in a lighter beige. Rounding everything together is the treading that features gum-colored panels.
