Barely-Used Dodge Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR Sells for $230,000 USD
Proving that keeping your car under wraps is a profitable investment.

Limited-edition supercars have proven to be quite the investment, with the likes of the new Ford GT and Dodge Challenger SRT Demon fetching tens, if not hundreds of thousands over the original listing price. Keeping in theme this trend is the Dodge Viper, particularly this low-mileage 2017 GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR which has just sold for $230,000 USD.
The Viper was originally bought for just over $145,000 USD almost four years ago, but in that time it has only been driven 840 miles. It’s number 80 of the 100 GTS-R Final Edition ACR models built and features an optional “Viper White” with a blue stripe paint job that pays homage to the 1997 FIA GT2 championship-winning factory Viper race cars, while black 19” ACR rims off-set the car and match its other black exterior elements, such as the carbon fiber diffuser.
Carbon fiber has been added to the upper and lower dive planes and the brake duct bezels, while this particular version also features a revised hood, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a rear carbon fiber appliqué. As for power, the Viper features an 8.4-liter V10 that’s mated to a six-speed manual and a limited-slip differential, while handling and braking are managed by Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and a 10-way adjustable suspension. Inside and out the car is hardcore, so don’t expect its 645 HP and 600 lb-ft of torque to come around quietly. You’ll be strapped into the bucket seats, heading to 62 MPH in around 3.5 seconds.
As we stated above, the Viper sold for $230,000 USD on Bring a Trailer. Take a look at the car above.
