Raekwon Unveils New Memoir 'From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan'
Promising the “full story” of the hip-hop icon and the legendary group.

Hip-hop icon Raekwon has unveiled the cover of his upcoming memoir From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan.
In 320 pages, the upcoming title explores the artist’s journey from the staircases of Park Hill in Staten Island to all the sold-out stadiums he’s graced with the Wu-Tang Clan. Raekwon and Anthony Bozza promise to tell the no holds barred story of the 51-year-old and the Wu-Tang Clan, including the group’s underground beginnings, several secrets behind their hits like “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Protect Ya Neck” and the effort they had to exert in order to become one of the first hip-hop groups to enter the mainstream. Raekwon will also explore the creation of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx and his other solo albums, as well as touch on how spirituality and fatherhood inspire his creative process.
Raekwon and Anthony Bozza’s From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan will be available on November 9 from Simon & Schuster.
Elsewhere in music, The Book of Mac: Remembering Mac Miller is a celebration of the late artist’s music and life.
