Jeep Reveals First Grand Wagoneer in 30 Years
The Wagoneer could have a price tag of over $100,000 USD.

The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer have officially arrived. Jeep has entered into the luxury SUV sector with the newest Wagoneer additions, taking direct aim at competitors like the Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon and Lincoln Navigator.
Jeep has revived the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models after thirty years off the market. The Wagoneer is expected to start at $57,995 USD and the Grand Wagoneer at $86,995 USD, making them both the most expensive automotive in Jeep’s lineup by far. The company offers other features such as screens for rear passengers, quilted-leather seats, an upgraded speaker system and larger wheels. However, these additions could potentially bring the price tag of the Grand Wagoneer to well over $100,000 USD.
The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer have subtle differences that account for the $30,000 USD price discrepancy. The Grand Wagoneer has more luxurious finishes, as well as a second-row captain’s chairs standard. The exterior also receives more chrome accents, more pronounced fender flares, a different set of LED lighting, electronic side steps and a black roof. The Grand Wagoneer also includes four touch displays that fill out the entirety of the dash, which includes the support for both Android and Apple entertainment systems and video streaming via Amazon’s Fire TV.
Mechanically, the Wagoneer is equipped with a 4.7-liter V8 engine that generates 392 horsepower, while the Grand Wagoneer is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 with 471 horsepower. Both are capable of towing up to 10,000 pounds.
The 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are both scheduled to make their way to dealerships in the second half of 2021.
