'Fortnite' Adds Ripley and Xenomorph from 'Alien'
“In space, no one can hear you scream. On the Island, everyone can you see you Emote.”
Just a little more than a week after announcing Ryu and Chun-Li’s arrival to the Island, Epic Games is now tapping yet another iconic franchise for its latest additions to Fortnite, this time bringing in Ripley and Xenomorph from Alien.
According to the developer, both skins will come with their own special little quirks. Ripley will be arriving with a Weyland-Yutani Cat Carrier along with Jonesy the cat, while the Xenomorph will come with two built-in emotes, Tail Back Bling and Menace.
Aside from the two skins, Fortnite is also releasing a themed Space Gear Bundle, which includes a pickaxe resembling the arm of the P-500 Power Loader, the Cheyenne Dropship Glider, and a new emote named Burst Case Scenario.
For those interested, the new Alien additions to Fortnite will arrive to its in-game store later this week. You can check out a preview of the two skins in the trailer above.
