Coutié Adds a Custom "Baby Blue" Touch to the Vans Old Skool 36 DX
Its “Old C Logo” also appears.
Germany meets SoCal once again with yet another release from Coutié‘s custom Vans Old Skool 36 DX roster, this time around giving the classic sneaker a “Baby Blue” update.
In usual form, Coutié has applied its “Old C Logo” decorations to the sneaker. As a result, the Anaheim pair’s black canvas uppers now sport Coutié branding on the mid-panel beneath the “Baby Blue” Jazz stripe, sitting alongside text that reads “Spring/Summer 2021 IDEAS THAT CONNECT.”
The medial side is left clean of any branding and sports the same “Baby Blue” Jazz stripe, while on the rear of the shoe you’ll find an “Old C Logo” decorating the heel in a classic gothic font. More Coutié branding can be found on the toe box, which like the heel and the eyestay placket is made from black suede.
Rounding out the sneaker is its classic white vulcanized midsole that’s finished with a red license plate on the heel, as well as a set of custom blue-and-white laces served up by Coutié. The Coutié Custom Vans Old Skool “Old C Logo” in “Baby Blue” can be seen above and purchased from Coutié’s website now (limited to one pair per customer), costing $131 USD each.
