adidas Is Bringing Back the OG Futurecraft 4D
And it’s considerably cheaper this time around.

adidas first introduced its Futurecraft 4D to market in 2017, and in the four years since Futurecraft tech has become much more accessable — from distribution and cost standpoints alike. To celebrate the boundary-breaking technology’s evolution, the Trefoil is bringing back the Futurecraft 4D once again by reviving its OG “Core Black/Grey Five/Linen Green” colorway.
The familiar silhouette features a black Primeknit upper, complete with a hi-vis reflective Three Stripe graphic printed on the quarter and a small green hit on the tongue. Below this knit top half sits a signature “Linen Green” Futurecraft midsole. Produced with CARBON’s revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis, a technology that uses liquid resin, air and light to cut waste and remove weight, this latticed assemblage offers responsive cushioning and comfort. Below the midsole, black Continental rubber outsoles round off the look.
Fans of 4D can expect the OG adidas Futurecraft 4D “Core Black/Grey Five/Linen Green” to release exclusively on adidas’ Confirmed app come March 19. The MSRP is set at $180 USD, a full $120 USD less than the $300 USD retail price it debuted at back in 2017.
