UFC Releases Countdown Feature for Jan Błachowicz vs. Israel Adesanya
The Light Heavyweight title fight will headline the stacked UFC 259 event.
Announced at the start of the year, the UFC has now released its countdown feature for Jan Błachowicz vs. Israel Adesanya at UFC 259. Serving as the headliner for the stacked event, Middleweight Champion Adesanya will be moving up a weight class to challenge Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Błachowicz.
The UFC 259 Countdown offers a look into the lives of the two champions that are distinctly different yet strikingly similar. As from a mutual devotion to family, Błachowicz of Poland and Adesanya of New Zealand literally train in opposite climates embracing the forms of nature around them. The clash between the two kings will either see Adesanya best another division or Błachowicz successfully defend his title for the first time.
In a night to be remembered by mixed martial arts fans, UFC 259 taking place at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada will see four champions in total step into the octagon. As Women’s Featherweight Champion Amanda Nunes takes on dangerous challenger Megan Anderson, and Petr Yan defends his Bantamweight Championship title against Aljamain Sterling.
