Richardson Celebrates Sex Appeal With Valentine’s Day Capsule

Channeling its erotica roots with Candy Chipmunk.

Founded in 1998, Andrew Richardon’s eponymous high-end cult erotica magazine-turned clothing label, Richardson kicks off its Spring/Summer 2021 rollout with a Valentine’s Day capsule collection, seemingly fitting to channel its erotica roots. Summing up the current state of lockdown romance, the brand celebrates the inner-cam girl with the introduction of its cartoon mascot, Candy Chipmunk representing secret monikers and stealth sex appeal.

The collection continues the brand’s love for military aesthetics with an army green crewneck sweatshirt and two T-shirts in black and army green. The line features the same graphic across the board — a promiscuous Candy Chipmunk sitting on a Looney Tunes-inspired love heart with the collection’s slogan “Life is sus, and I’m a toy”. The reverse reads “Candy Chipmunk” in pink varsity letters under Richardson’s signature “R” logo.

Following its theme, Richardson calls upon adult film star Ana Foxx to endorse the collection. Shot in the Debutant Suite of a Hollywood love motel equipped with a red and white tiled heart-shaped jacuzzi and red LEDs to capture the raunchy mood.

Richardson’s Valentine’s Day capsule collection is set to release in the US and online on February 11 at 9 A.M. EST, and Japan on February 13.
