Pièces Uniques' FW21 Collection Exists Somewhere "Between Sky & Earth"
With tailoring made under the consultancy of Michael Kaplan, costume designer on the latest ‘Star Wars’ trilogy.
Looking ahead, emerging French fashion name Pièces Uniques has now unveiled its upcoming Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Titled “Between Sky & Earth,” the seasonal range features a color palette of beige, blue and grey inspired by the Earth, sand, concrete, sky and sea. Additional inspirations come from the importance of anime and heroes of pop culture like Iron Man, Attack on Titan, Cowboy Bebop and Full Metal Alchemist. Once again Artistic Director Edmond Luu created under the concept of Silhouette of L’Homme Pièces Uniques to craft looks for every situation.
Marking a noticeable creative maturity for the label, the FW21 collection reimagined garment construction, textile quality and the weight of inspirations. Additionally, a special partnership saw tailoring crafted under the consultancy of Michael Kaplan, costume designer on the latest Star Wars trilogy.
The collection also sees the launch of an essentials line that was in development throughout the last year. Comprised of hoodies, crewneck sweaters, T-shirts and sweatpants, each item is constructed of PU.RESEARCH cotton for standout quality, weight, flexibility and fit. Pièces Uniques also put together its first carrying options in the form of a remake of the La clé monogram and a leather messenger bag, along with a selection of silver jewelry.
