Lexus Translates Its 2021 IS 350 F Sport Into a 3D-Printed Sneaker
Shedding light on Lexus’ new “Grecian Water” paint color.
After unveiling its powerful 2022 IS 500 F Sport V8, Lexus is back giving more shine to its sports line of vehicles.
Selecting the Craig Green x adidas Originals Graddfa AKH as the base to work off of, this new presentation heads to a new route as Lexus enlists RTFKT to translate its 2021 Lexus IS 350 into a one-off sneaker. The sports car’s bold lines and spindle grille are replicated using 3D printed panels that give texture to the shoe while other elements like the carbon spoiler appear as an exaggerated strip at the heel. Lexus branding is found at the tongue as a hood ornament deubré along with an F SPORT tag at the medial side. This color closely resembles “Grecian Water,” a new color for Lexus in 2021.
