Under Japanese management for the past several seasons — not unlike ManastashGramicci‘s easygoing, affordable products have helped it regain international traction within the span of only a few years. For Spring/Summer 2021, the brand is again splitting its core offering into “Classic” and “Performance” offerings, either repurposing brand signatures or introducing new elements to its oeuvre.

Loungey granola silhouettes are the brand’s calling card these days, and new technical fabrics elevate the core shapes with functional appeal. These include “Shelltech x Renu” (a recycled double-woven polyester given extra stretch) and “Stormfleece,” infused into a variety of layered jackets, overshirts, cropped pants and packable shorts, the latter bolstered by Gramicci’s iconic built-in belt.

Throughout, cuts are trim but generous, encouraging all-day play by way of stress-free comfort and reliably durable fabrication. New paisley patterns accompany the usual beige accents, lending streetwear edge to more refined Performance goods, which take on mostly neutral tones.

Visit Gramicci’s website to get a closer look and expect the new season items to hit a variety of global stockists shortly.

Other outdoorsy summer items were recently previewed by Japanese labels like hobo, master-piece and Karrimor Japan.
