Eric André's Prank Movie 'Bad Trip' to Premiere on Netflix After Lengthy Delay
The film was originally scheduled to release in April 2020.
Eric André‘s hidden camera prank film Bad Trip is finally premiering after a long COVID-19-related delay.
The upcoming movie follows André and Lil Rey Howery as Chris Carey and Bud Malone, two best friends who make their way from Florida to New York City so one of them can profess their love to their high school crush, Maria Li (Michaela Conlin). The pair steal the car of Bud’s incarcerated sister Trina (Tiffany Haddish), but she manages to escape prison and hunts them down. While on the road, Chris and Bud utilize hidden cameras and pull real pranks on real people, ranging from accidentally getting dowsed in gasoline to putting a hand in a blender.
The film was originally scheduled for an April 17, 2020 theatrical release, however the pandemic caused the shut down of movie theaters all around the world. It accidentally became available on Amazon Prime Video during its supposed release date as well, but has been taken down since.
Bad Trip premieres March 26 on Netflix.
