Drake Is a Body Double in State Farm Super Bowl Commercial
The rapper is joined by Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes and Paul Rudd.
Drake from State Farm met Jake from State Farm in the rapper’s first ever State Farm Super Bowl ad.
The commercial sees Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Jake from State Farm on a commercial set. As the trio talks about casting body doubles, Mahomes points to his stand-in, portrayed by Paul Rudd, and Rodgers claims that casting the actor “makes sense.” Jake casually states that they couldn’t find him a body double, but to their surprise, finds Drake dressed in Jake’s classic State Farm uniform. The rapper introduces himself as “Drake from State Farm” but clashes with Jake as they try to say the company’s slogan at the same time. Jake reminds him that “Stand-ins don’t have lines,” so Drake just quietly stands there eating an apple as Jake successfully delivers his line.
