The Weeknd Celebrates 10th Anniversary of 'Echoes of Silence' With Exclusive Sorayama Capsule Collaboration
Releasing limited-edition apparel and BE@RBRICK.
In celebration of The Weeknd‘s third breakout mixtape Echoes of Silence the artist has partnered with the renowned contemporary Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama for a variety of limited-edition merchandise.
The capsule collection features a variety of long and short sleeve tees, hoodies that see the iconic Sorayama robot intertwined with The Weeknd’s XO branding. The album name is seen in the signature Sorayama font is featured prominently on the front or back of the apparel. Additionally, the collection includes an Alpha MA-1 slim-fit bomber jacket, a trucker hat as well as a lithograph. The Echoes of Silence 2LP vinyl is re-released in its original form which includes the standard art along with the special edition that features exclusive art designed by Sorayama.
Additionally, the expansive capsule collection sees a 1000% Sorayama x The Weeknd BE@RBRICK and a 400% + 100% Sorayama x The Weeknd BE@RBRICK for contemporary and R&B fans everywhere. With this collection, The Weeknd joins the ranks of highly sought out collectibles. Sorayama has released a statement on the joint project, “I am very happy to collaborate with you. Congratulations on your 10th year Anniversary, ABEL! I wish for your continuous success and health. Let’s run it back on your 20th year Anniversary :)”
Starting on December 21 at 3 p.m. EST fans will be able to shop the capsule collection at The Weeknd’s online shop. Prices range from $25 USD to $980 USD. Check out the collection above.
