LEGO Unveils Limited-Edition BMW M 1000 RR Model
A 1:5 scale replica featuring a functional three-speed gearbox
LEGO has released a 1:5 scale BMW M 1000 RR motorcycle as part of its Technic™ collection which currently includes automotive icons and novelties such as the Buggati Chiron, McLaren Senna GTR, Ducati Panigale V4 R, Lamborghini Sian, the new Batmobile, and more.
The model kit includes all the major parts of the bike including a functional three-speed gearbox, steering, gold chain transmission, front and rear suspension, four-piston engine, an exhibition stand, and a racing stand. Exteriors come in a classic red, white, and blue color scheme with gloss back directional rims and M-sport brake calipers. When finished, the 1,920-piece replica measures 27 cm high, 45 cm long, and 17 cm wide.
The LEGO BMW M 1000 RR is set to release on LEGO’s website on January 1, 2022 for $230 USD. Stay tuned for more updates, as popular Technic models in the past have received life-sized builds.
