'Hawkeye' Season Finale Trailer Teases the Return of the Boss
Hitting Disney+ on December 22.
Disney+ has shared the trailer for the season finale of Hawkeye, teasing the arrival of the ultimate villain and the true force behind the Tracksuit Mafia, Kingpin.
Aptly named “The Boss,” the visual shows a slew of action sequences featuring Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and Black Widow assassin Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), teasing Barton and Bishop’s final battle against the Mafia, Echo and Belova.
The trailer then briefly reveals a close-up of Kingpin’s signature cane, confirming the villain’s first physical appearance in the series, after his long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in episode five via a photograph sent to Bishop.
“There’s someone at the top,” Renner says in the trailer. “He’s the guy I’ve been worried about the whole time.”
Vincent D’Onforio will play the role of Kingpin, or Wilson Fisk, after first playing the character in Netflix‘s Daredevil series in 2015. Aside from Renner, Steinfeld, Pugh and D’Onofrio, the show also stars Fra Fee, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Vera Farmiga and Alaqua Cox.
