Blue Bottle Coffee Opens Hong Kong's Largest Café in Wan Chai
Each floor represent three celestial bodies.
After previewing an exclusive capsule with Human Made, Blue Bottle Cafe Hong Kong has officially opened the doors to its third location in Hong Kong.
As the largest cafe in Hong Kong, the Wan Chai location was designed alongside wrkshp and sees 180-degree windows on all three levels. There are three coffee bars — one for each floor — that reflect the district of Wan Chai and its history as having Hong Kong’s first electric power station. Through its material palette, special lighting, and other design details, each floor of the cafe symbolizes the celestial bodies – the Sun, Moon, and Star. Oxidized brass represents the craters on the moon, Glossy tiles with matte yellow mosaic tiles for twinkling stars, and finally gold stainless steel as the brightness of the sun.

The Cafe offers three distinct levels and services. Ground Floor offers quick grab and go service with no seating; First Floor introduces the drip bar and a full kitchen with casual seating along the window to linger and people watch; Second and top floor provide lounge-type seating, benches, and a variety of tables for longer stays with expansive views to Star Street Precinct and beyond.
This location also has an exclusive menu for breakfast, brunch, as well as snack options.
