Arsenal and adidas Originals Look Into the Archives for New Collection

Arsenal and adidas Originals have continued their ongoing partnership with a new retro-inspired collection, taking influence from their first partnership between 1986 and 1994. The collection itself features a sweatshirt, T-shirt and zipped jacket, as well as the stand out football jersey.
The jersey is a remake of the away kit worn in the 1993/94 season, and comes in both short sleeve and long sleeve versions. The yellow design is notable for its diagonal stripes, vintage Arsenal crest, and adidas EQT logo.
Unveiling the collection, Arsenal legend Ian Wright said:
“I have amazing memories of playing in the adidas EQT jersey during the 93/94 season, and it’s great to celebrate that era with such a full and proper collection.
The range has got all the classics and we had a good time on set playing our different roles. I even had to remind some of first team lads and women that we won the Cup Winners Cup that season so now that this is back, we have to win something!”
The collection is due to be worn by Arsenal’s men’s and women’s teams in the build up to four key fixtures between December 9 and December 15, with all of the pieces releasing via the adidas web store and official club stores on December 13.
