Russell Athletic and Ceeze Team Up for Upcycled Varsity Jackets

Russell Athletic and NYC-based creative brand Ceeze have teamed up for a limited-edition capsule collection that reimagines the varsity jacket.
Inspired by Russell Athletic’s ‘70s and ‘80s catalogs, the “Homecoming” Varsity Jackets are made from upcycled Russell Athletic sweatshirts and feature cactus leather sleeves, Italian ripping and selvedge poplin lining. Additionally, the jackets come in gray and navy colorways with Ceeze-developed custom chenille patches along the jacket sleeves and the signature Russell Athletic R crest on the chest.
Earlier this month, Ceeze unveiled its Air Jordan 1 High “Duckboot” adding to its history of custom sneakers. The classic Jordan silhouette was reworked with black quilted leather, pale peach nubuck, burgundy suede, glossy patent leather, a checkered interior and an off-white midsole.
The limited-edition collection includes only 30 jackets total and each order is complete with a custom hangtag. Priced at $425 USD, the Russell Athletic x Ceeze collection is available now on the Ceeze website.
