Vans Teams Up With USPS for a Collaborative Footwear and Apparel Delivery
Featuring the Sk8-Hi MTE-1, Sk8-Hi Reissue, the Authentic and the Old Skool.
Vans has kept its collaborations category trucking along throughout the Fall season as it has revealed projects with the likes of MOCA, Tierra Whack and more. And to close out the month of November with a bang, the Anaheim skateboarding imprint is now linking up with the USPS team for a full-fledged footwear and apparel collection. The entire range is inspired by the tireless dedication of USPS Employees.
On the footwear front, this assemblage features postal-inspired takes of the Sk8-Hi MTE-1, Sk8-Hi Reissue, the Authentic and the Old Skool. In case you need a functional pair of kicks to lace up during the winter, the Sk8-Hi MTE-1 comes prepared with sherpa-lined collars, an all-terrain outsole, and the USPS’s iconic eagle that appears on the lateral side of the collars. Its release sibling in the Sk8-Hi Reissue comes done up with all-over Priority Mail print that is paired up with red laces and red midsole text embellishments. The Authentic is formatted with light blue denim to nod to the USPS worker uniforms while the Old Skool is built with white tumbled leather and features “USPS” on the Jazz stripes and collars and U.S. Mail insignias underneath the foxing.
On the apparel side, both parties have cooked up co-branded pullover hoodies, a pocket tee and a beanie that all come readied in navy blue.
If interested, you can find the Vans x USPS collection dropping via select Vans, select Vans retailers and Foot Locker on November 29. Additionally, on January 20 Foot Locker will be launching The Sk8-Hi Reissue will be dropping exclusively via Foot Locker on January 20. The shoes will range from $65-$115 USD while the apparel will run you $28-$75 USD.
