YEEZY SUPPLY Dropped the adidas YEEZY BSKTBL KNIT “Slate Blue” by Surprise
The kicks are now sold out, but a wider release is set to go down in December.
Kanye West has been signed with the adidas family for six years now and if there’s anything that we’ve learned in terms of his release methods, it’s that both parties have a penchant for keeping things interesting. At any given moment, Ye and his team could unveil a new colorway, restock an old iteration, conduct a regional exclusive launch or even surprise drop a new silhouette, and the latter just occurred for his all-new adidas YEEZY BSKTBL KNIT “Slate Blue.”
This particular variation first surfaced on the Web back in early October, but the official product images showcase that the sneakers are styled slightly different from its early leaked images. The high-cut shoe is predominantly designed with black and gray tones, the former of which dresses up the PrimeKnit ankle bootie, throat and laces while the latter applies to the toe boxes, mid-foot and heels. Notes of “Slate Blue” are embedded into the collars and throats in the form of streaks for added flair. BOOST-stuffed midsole units are surrounded by a smooth mold that is tinted with a more gray.
The shoes are now sold out on the YEEZY SUPPLY site, but a wider release is set for December 18. The shoes retail for $300 USD.
Elsewhere in kicks, official images of the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Fade Azure” have emerged.
