Founded in 2016 by visual artist Alljan Moehamad and designer Deyrinio Fraenk, Atelier Reservé has become renowned for the innovative ways it reworks vintage Levi’s stock to create new garments in each of its collections.
Now, linking up with the famed denim brand a second time, the pair redefine the graphic sports hoodie, striped flannel shirt and the classic Sherpa trucker hat into a capsule of genderless item, which can be worn oversized, fitted ort anything in between.
“The graphics on the garments feature a perfume bottle or a soap bar, labeled Genderless,” says Moehamad on the collection. “The beauty business is a good example of an industry in which gender lines have blurred. A scent is not necessarily masculine or feminine; it was only branded that way for a long time. Similarly, we invite people to define their own rules of what sexy or attractive looks like.”
