G-SHOCK is expanding its universe once again, taking inspiration from its revered metal-cased G-STEEL line of style-centric timepieces to deliver the all-new, color-inspired G-STEEL timepiece. The latest slim G-STEEL edition shows off a uniquely-designed, thin module that captures beautiful, deep color palettes. The G-STEEL is solar-powered and Bluetooth-friendly, making the watch tech-forward yet still subtle and cool.

The G-STEEL GST-B400CD-1A3 bezel is a sight to behold with its deep and vivid green IP that brings out the texture of the metal and that invites wearers to experience this supernatural style. The new G-STEEL finish exudes maturity and quality, while the dial provides a depth perception to the timepiece. Combined with the signature dial indicator, together with bridge parts and dimensional index marks, the power-saving module allows for an improved dial design, which frees up design possibilities. The often-desired resin case, stainless-steel bezel combination has been applied to the top surface, giving it a primed finish, while reducing the weight, resulting in a case that is just 12.9mm slim. With exquisite detailing like the carbon core guard structure, mineral glass and neobrite, the G-STEEL is a watch with a perfectly crafted metal bezel that provides a comfortable fit.

Additionally, you can also expect an array of advanced features standard to G-SHOCK, including exceptional shock resistance, 200M water resistance, Bluetooth connectivity, the dedicated G-SHOCK CONNECTED app. Not to be gleamed over, the watch features a world time, a stopwatch, countdown timer, double LED lights, a daily alarm and a fully-automatic calendar. The metal band comes with a double slide lever for easy band changes and completing the package are polyurethane black and silver metal bands, providing both function and style.

Take a closer look at the watches in the images above. The G-SHOCK G-STEEL GST-B400CD ($430 USD) and GST-B400X ($400 USD) are available now at G-SHOCK Soho, select retailers and on the brand’s website.
