Shake Shack teamed up with Chef JJ Johnson to roll out its final collaboration of the “Now Serving” chef collab series. The burger chain last partnered with Dominique Crenn to introduce a limited-edition grilled cheese sandwich.

For the latest limited timed menu, JJ took inspiration from the Caribbean flavors of his childhood dishes as well as his travels and concocted the Little J’s Burger which is packed with a gruyere cheeseburger — made with 100% Angus beef — topped with braised bacon, onion mayo, lettuce and tomato on a toasted potato bun. The burger is paired off with Curry Crunch Fries which chef JJ dusted with his signature curry crunch over Shake Shack’s classic crispy crinkle cuts.

“When I think of collaborations for myself and FIELDTRIP, I always look to align with brands that have similar views and values. Shake Shack is all about the community and what better place to collaborate than with the Harlem Shake Shack, in the place I call home,” said JJ Johnson, Chef and Founder of FIELDTRIP. “I’m excited for the Harlem community to experience the FIELDTRIP flavors on the Little J burger and Curry Crunch fries. Shake Shack is beloved in my household, so this is an exciting moment for myself, FIELDTRIP, the community and my family.”

Priced at $8.49 and $3.99 respectively, the new burger and fries will be up on the menu starting October 28 at the Shake Shack in Harlem, NY until supplies last. Proceeds from the menu will be donated to Rethink Food — a nonprofit organization with the mission to create a more sustainable and equitable food system.

In case you missed it, Burger King Japan served up its new Guilty Butter Burgers and Clown Chocolate Fries.
