NAMESAKE FW21 Collection Campaign Channels Adventure Across the Marseille Coastline

NAMESAKE has delivered its Fall/Winter 2021 collection, heavily inspired by the amalgamation of agriculture and basketball.
Bringing together the streetwear universe with the ’90s American vintage fashion, the collection campaign centers around finding adventure in the path less traveled. NAMESAKE keeps to traditions by keeping to its inspirational roots and depicting a collection that combines both technical and formal elements to create a contemporary preppy aesthetic.
FW21 takes to Marseille for the campaign shoot, where the brand is reinvented to transform the brother design duo’s interpretation of the American dream into a global fashion reality. The sport of basketball is a contrasting motif to the setting of the French coast. The campaign tells the story of adventure and self-discovery while also changing the idea of formalwear and athletic crossover. Multi-material pieces are constructed to bring together unique design perspectives of the classic overcoat, bomber jacket and vest. Vibrant pops of detail are further highlighted by the use of contrasting yellows and greens to further blend the motifs for the collection.
