MM6 Maison Margiela Puts Eastpak Into "Reverse Mode"
The five styles are inside out, back to front and rearranged.

After previewing the collection back in February, MM6 Maison Margiela has now given an official look at its collaboration with Eastpak. The capsule merges the label’s “reverse mode” theme from its Fall/Winter 2021 collection, with pieces that are inside out, back to front and rearranged.
Arguably the stand-out item in the five-piece collection is the padded XL “Backtoback” backpack, which is constructed from two padded back panels from Eastpak’s Padded Pak’r bag. The new backpack also features straps and tags on both its front and back.
The Padded Pak’r is also the basis for three reversible backpacks created using thread-through and detachable padded shoulder straps. The reversible Padded Pak’r comes in either black, blue or red, each of which can be transformed into white.
The reversible theme continues onto the Springer back, which also arrives in the same three colorways that turn into white. Rounding out the collection is a new minibag and a version of MM6’s geometric Japanese bag. All of the items in the collection prominently feature reversed MM6 and Eastpak logos.
Take a look at the five bags in the gallery above. The MM6 Maison Margiela x Eastpak collection is due to release via MM6 and Eastpak boutiques as well as select stockists on October 15.
