J. Cole's PUMA RS-DREAMER "Lime Green" Nods to Times Square's Neon Lights
A neon colorway fit for one of the Big Apple’s main attractions.
J. Cole spent most of his upbringing growing up in Fayetteville, North Carolina but, New York City will always have a special place in the rapper’s heart. It’s a destination that he always worked to have success in, and he’s expressed his love for the Big Apple through a three-pronged “Times Square” Pack that involves his signature PUMA RS-Dreamer. Following up on the launches of the red colorway and the “E-Line” makeup is the “Lime Green” variant that channels the energy of NYC’s Times Square.
Bold and bright is the focus for this hoops-ready iteration as it is designed to mimic the neon lights that are omnipresent throughout the Midtown tourist attraction. Mesh uppers are produced with a fluorescent “Lime Green” tone, and come seated next to solid black, laces, piping, interior liners and suede overlays across the forefoot. Reflective stripes are located on the heel tabs and loops that are planted towards the rear. Branding is present atop the tongues and heels, the former showing off an “RSD” hit while “Dreamer” hits inside of a cloud silhouette are parked out back. Chunky and textured sole units finish off the shoes with black exteriors.
