Haven Supplies the Vault by Vans OG Lampin VLT LX With a Technical Upgrade
The hairy suede-covered iterations come in black and white colorways.
Despite being a brand mostly known for its apparel, Haven will occasionally tap into the world of footwear for various collaborations. Earlier this Fall, it was tapped by the boot experts of Dr. Martens to craft a stealthy take of the classic 1461, and now it has just presented its newest partnership with Vault by Vans that entails a two-piece pack of the OG Lampin VLT LX. This marks the third collaboration between these two parties.
The Canadian imprint often shows a penchant for minimalistic style, and that’s exactly what it delivers to this newest initiative. Instead of the utilizing the silhouette’s traditional canvas, Haven instead upgrades the shoe with water-resistant hairy suedes that make up a majority of the base while tonal nubuck makes up the medial side of the mid-foot and the heel stripes. The interior of the kicks also arrives with a more elevated feel as they have been lined with padded collars and pigskin leather that is soft to the touch. Additionally, the insoles are adorned with branding from both each respective imprint.
The Haven x Vault by Vans OG Lampin VLT LX is dropping via HAVEN’s flagship stores and on its website on October 23. Retail price is set at $150 CAD (approx. $122 USD).
