Netflix Releases Trailer for Upcoming Elisa Lam Crime Scene Investigation Series
Highlighting the dark history of Los Angeles’ Cecil Hotel.
Following an announcement for Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, Netflix has now delivered a trailer for the investigation series surrounding the death of Elisa Lam.
Directed and executive produced by Joe Berlinger (The Ted Bundy Tapes), the four-episode documentary will “deconstruct” the events behind Lam’s disappearance with interviews with the hotel employees, guests and investigators. Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotellooks to bring all-new insight into the 2013 case involving the discovery of the Vancouver, BC, Canada student in the water supply of Los Angeles’ Cecil Hotel. Highlighting the dark history of the downtown location, along with the chilling footage that ignited a media frenzy and global online investigation.
Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel serves as the first season of Berlinger’s Netflix docuseries that deconstructs the mythology and mystery surrounding infamous locations in contemporary crime.
