HBO Max 'Harry Potter' Series Reportedly in Early Development

According to reports, a live-action Harry Potter series is now in “early development.”
The reports go on to note that the development is being handled by HBO Max with the streaming service’s executives holding “multiple conversations” with possible writers. Still in the developmental stages, HBO Max is exploring several broad ideas revolving around J.K. Rowling‘s fantasy franchise. It is said that HBO and Warner Bros. are very keen on adapting the valuable intellectual property into series.
