adidas Golf Introduces Lightweight Spiked ZG21 with BOOST Technology
In both traditional shoelace version as well as an advanced BOA strap model.

adidas Golf is pushing the limit with its new ZG21 performance spiked shoes that promise better grip and luxury.
Within the adidas Golf ZG21 silhouette is a slew of technologies. For instance, the shoe has Lightstrike cushioning that is also utilized in adidas basketball and tennis footwear, along with BOOST cushioning for shock appropriation and support. The four-layer upper is identified as Sprintskin, which keeps the shoe waterproof by integrated textiles and polyurethane films. Along with an Ultralight Stability Fin, a TPU insert in the lateral sidewall provides escalated firmness and an unrelenting feel for the swing duration. Most importantly, the Swingplane Traction is the area that provides the biggest amount of grip needed, which was developed from adidas running studies. Lastly, the outsole attributes a fine TPU construction, six spikes, and a sickle-shaped subsidiary lug to grip.
Furthermore, the ZG21 is available in a BOA version with a ‘Y’ strap model that encases the foot in lieu of shoelaces, fabricating a suited instep springiness and independence in the shoe. The dial regulates the pressure when required to amplify velocity.
The laced model is priced at $180 USD, while the BOA version is $200 USD – both are available on adidas official website and the adidas app now. Select worldwide retailers will receive an allotment on February 1.
