Conway The Machine has revealed that his newest album is due this January.

In the midst of cryptic tweets about parting ways with Griselda Records, the rapper shared that his From King To A GOD followup will be released at the “[e]nd of January.” Although he didn’t reveal the title of the project, it is most likely his second studio effort and Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakes, which was promoted by the label in November 2020.

Aside from the new album news, Conway shared a series of obscure tweets that made fans worry about his future with Griselda. ”What would that sh*t be WITHOUT machine??” he first tweeted, then answered answer some fan questions about his lack of involvement in the label’s debut feature film CONFLICTED. He fairly revealed that he wasn’t in the movie because he can’t act, but then replied to a similar question in a tone difficult to comprehend over social media, tweeting back, “What movie.” Another Twitter user also pointed out that Conway was not mentioned in the film, soundtrack and NFL promo, and he simply replied, “I don’t exist.”

One fan shared a screenshot of Conway’s reply to an Instagram comment, where he wrote “sorry” to a someone pleading with him not to leave Griselda. The rapper finally gave the most straightforward answer, revealing that he still has “1 album left,” although he didn’t follow it up with any context. Someone else also went on to ask if he’ll still be working with the group, and Conway just replied with a GIF of a man looking nervous.

Elsewhere in music, Dr. Dre could be working on Detox once again.
