adidas Football Revives Its Classic 1998 Predator Boot
Arriving in two stealthy iterations.

Unlocking the doors once more to its illustrious archives, adidas Football readies the return of its classic 1998 Predator Accelerator, a silhouette renowned as the boot of choice for a young David Beckham back in his late-nineties heyday.
The former England star became synonymous with the boot throughout his time at Manchester United, and famously wore the original red and white iteration when he was sent off in the quarter-finals of the 1998 World Cup for kicking out at Argentina’s Diego Simeone.
Making its return for 2021 in two variations, the classic nineties boots have been reworked in a stealthy “Core Black” and “Grey Six” colorway, while the look and feel remains almost identical to the original. Crafted with the same soft K-leather upper and signature rubber elements on the forefoot, the boot’s updated innovative split outsole immediately accelerates you forward to the present day.
Complete with classic lace closure and elastic tongue straps, one iteration arrives ready for the pitch with firm ground studs, while street-ready trainers are complete with a responsive BOOST midsole.
adidas’ Predator Accelerator pack is set to drop on January 15 via the adidas webstore.
In other footwear news, adidas Originals has unveiled its “Gaming Pack”.
