Y-3 has returned with the latest footwear release from its Fall/Winter 2020 collection, once again mixing adidas‘ technical expertise with Yohji Yamamoto‘s signature aesthetic. The latest release is a technical cold weather boot, celebrating exploration and adventure with all-weather protection.

Dubbed the Y-3 NOTOMA Boot, the silhouette has been constructed with details to guarantee the wearer’s protection. This includes a lace closure, EVA midsole and rubber outsole, as well as the use of PrimaLoft insulation fabric to keep the wearer warm at all times.

Arriving in two contrasting colorways, the NOTOMA sports both an all-black woven textile design complete with “Night Grey” detailing and a lighter iteration. For this second colorway, Yohji has looked to the visual codes of protective clothing, mixing an all-over khaki canvas upper with hits of “Fox Orange.”

The NOTOMA is set to release on October 1 via the adidas web store and through select retailers around the world.
