Shortly after introducing its new Air Jordan 4-inspired footwear model, Maison Margiela has now delivered the 35mm DDSTCK Mid-High Sneaker in a familiar “Black/Red” colorway.

This time around, the made in Italy sneaker utilizes a black leather base upper defined by an elevated ankle cut and matching netting detail at the midfoot. Additional details come in the form of an extended mudguard and a puffed wing panel that wraps around the ankle that continues the single tone theme.

Elevating the silhouette is a yellowed, cracked and separated midsole with an encapsulate bubble and paired with a black/red rubber outsole, in reference to vintage sneaker culture. Rounding up the design of the 35mm DDSTCK Leather Mid-High Sneaker is a traditional lacing system, contrasting grey sockliner, Margiela branding on the tongue and a signature stitching detail at the rear.

Priced at $990 USD, Maison Margiela’s 35mm DDSTCK Leather Mid-High Sneakers “Black/Red” are available now at LUISAVIAROMA.

In case you missed it, serve in style with Gucci’s Wolf Head Cloche.
